This stinks
It's been weeks now working on a company name. Sure I could go with my own last name, but that isn't very original, maybe even a little boring to some. In fact this has been so bad I have even been asking for ideas and drawing complete blanks most days and when I do get a name it's already taken. I know when it will be good and this is going to take a while.

Recapping The Past
I'm building a business and I can't express just how dedicated you have to be just to start. Taking advantage of every waking moment to do something, anything. I need a blog just to keep records of progress and have reference of what I've done and when.
This morning for example I have been doing some house keeping on PC's. I use 2 computers to forge the up coming company and this means disorder every step of the way. So I have been organizing favorites and deleting unused junk. I'm amazed at how much has to be done to the computer/s in order to have efficient processing and this all revolves around building a business for e-commerce.
So before I get too distracted. I have been working privately if not secretly on building a online tackle shop. While I'm convinced it most likely won't make a dime right away I am also convinced that I am not working for other people anymore. No matter where I work I do it for someone else and I'm not going to do that anymore. I worked at a place once that was so bad I literally found myself vomiting out the window of my truck at a traffic signal just because I was getting within a mile of my job. And I have had several "jobs" that left me feeling like that.
I considered going for the money and attempting online sales in drop shipping and or retailing hot items online. I have even looked at all the get rich quick scams and tried to calculate a way around it all. Then one day I remembered something I read online in a small business forum I visit, a little jingle "Do what you love and you will never work another day". Thats pretty profound I think, and I am living by it now.
I love fishing and can't think of much else I'd rather do(other than time with family). Why not make my money in fishing? This idea has been on the back burner for years. And thats what brings me back up to the present. I am working on an e-commerce site, it's so involved and I haven't even got a company name yet. It's no wonder so many small businesses fail in the first year. But I am determined NOT to be a fly by night come and go snake oil salesman, I want a real company that lasts into the future. That desire is whats making it hard every step of the way. Doing it right.
